Camps and Excursions
Camps and Excursions are offered by the college both as extracurricular opportunities, and to support curriculum, teaching and learning. All camps and excursions involve consent to participate, and will be advertised ahead of the event with permission form details distributed either via email, or directly to students in paper copy.

2025 Camps
In May 2025, Year 7 students have the opportunity to attend camp at Queensland Camping and Conference Centres (QCCC) in Tambourine. Students will depart at 7.30am on Wednesday 14 May and return 3.30pm on Friday 16 May.
Students will be participating in the 'Challenge Camp'. Activities range in risk level from Low to High and this has been considered during the planning of the Camp. Activities are facilitated by staff of Vertec Adventure during the day and on one evening. MHSSC staff provide additional supervision during activities run by Vertec Adventure, supervise during meal times, free time and overnight. They also run night activities for one night at Camp.
As camp is an extracurricular event, before a student can be considered for participation, a parent or carer is required to have fulfilled all financial requirements.
Consent Forms and deposit payments are required by 7 March 2025. Any questions regarding the camp can be made to Head of Year 7, Miss Pinches at 7hoy@mangohillssc.eq.edu.au
