As the Foundation Principal of Mango Hill State Secondary College, I am very proud to welcome you to our wonderful College.
Since opening our doors in January 2020, the College has maintained a focus on developing a high-quality program of teaching and learning. We want to engage our students through ‘real’ experiences within and beyond the classroom to transfer knowledge from theory to practice. We refer to this as Respectful, Engaged, Aspiring Learners (REAL) “REAL learning for the world of Tomorrow”. We want to ensure that our young people are equipped with the knowledge, skills and attributes that will ensure they are successful in whatever pathway they choose beyond school.

Respect, engagement, aspiration and learning are the core values of our College. We expect that our students are Respectful of themselves, their peers, their teachers and their environment; that they are Engaged in the classroom and are active participants in learning; that they Aspire to achieve the best that they can, in whatever endeavours they undertake; and that they display a growth mindset and are open-minded, curious Learners.
Our teachers and staff reinforce these values through their teaching connections and conversations with students each day. We have a dedicated, professional teaching team who work with each student to ensure they achieve their potential. Our goal is to create a Culture of Learning driven by the shared belief that all students can learn, given the right time and the right support. Our classrooms are inclusive of all learners, with a focus on creating learning environments that are safe, supportive and welcoming for all.
Our co-curricular and extra-curricular programs in the Arts and Sport complement the learningin our classrooms and provide students with avenues to pursue their talents and contribute to the social and cultural fabric of the College.
